In order to conduct field enquiry and to submit report to the State Level Scrutiny Committee of genuiness Scheduled Tribe Community Certificates, four Vigilance Cells are already functioning in: Chennai, Trichy, Salem and Madurai regions. Further, pending 3,251 Scheduled Tribe Community Certificates verification of genuiness by a section of 38 Social Justice and Human Rights officials under the leadership of Additional Director General of Police is in progress.
